Saved Templates For Import / Export

Having a saved template can save you lots of time when exporting or importing product data over and over again. This is why we created this feature so you don’t need to constantly select the fields you want to import or export.

Create A New Template:

  1. Click on the “Products” page.
  2. Click on “Select Action” drop-down menu (located on the upper right side).
  3. From here you can access your saved templates by clicking on “Export” action.
  4. The saved templates dialog box will popup.
  5. Template: If you created a saved template previously, you can load it from here.
  6. Fields: If you wish to save a new template, select the fields you want. (To select multiple fields, hold down “ctrl” and click on the fields you want selected).
  7. Name: Name your template.
  8. Format: Select the file format you want your files to be exported (CSV, Excel).
  9. Click on “Save/Update Template” and you are done.

Update An Existing Template:

  1. Click on the “Products” page.
  2. Click on “Select Action” drop-down menu (located on the upper right side).
  3. From here you can access saved templates by clicking on “Export” action.
  4. The saved templates dialog box will popup.
  5. Template: Select your existing saved template from here.
  6. Fields: Select the fields you want. (To select multiple fields, hold down “ctrl” and click on the fields you want selected).
  7. Name: Update the name of your template if needed.
  8. Format: Update file format if needed.
  9. Click on “Save/Update Template” and you are done.
